Method

    If making olive salad, combine all listed ingredients and let stand at least 30 minutes.

    Slice the loaf horizontally. Spoon olive salad and some oil over both cut surfaces, pressing it into the crumb.

    Layer salami, ham, mortadella, capicola, provolone, and Swiss evenly. Replace the top.

    Wrap tightly in plastic or parchment and weight lightly with a skillet. Rest at room temperature for 1 hour or refrigerate up to overnight.

    Cut into wedges and serve at room temperature.
